Amazon Kindle DX Leather Cover

If the bestselling Kindle cover is the Amazon Kindle Leather Cover, it makes no surprise that the same leather cover (except this time for the Kindle DX) would be the number two bestselling cover (after all, Amazon do recommend them to buyers who purchase a Kindle in the first place).

Again like the Kindle 2's cover, there are clips to hold your Kindle securely in place and you are able to use all of the buttons even while the cover is on.

The inner felt lining is very comfortable on your hand (it's pretty much what you'll feel if you are reading from your Kindle). Some people have reported that it feels soft and luxurious like grey flannel, so makes curling up with your Kindle in bed a tactile experience which can be comforting.

The leather itself on the front of the cover is decent enough and looks sleek (but some would say a little plastic looking). Sure you can get better quality leather in some of the other Kindle covers but not many other makers are creating covers for the Kindle DX yet - although I'm sure they won't be too far away.

It is about double the price of the Kindle 2 cover (but then it's about double the size as well), but if you've paid that bit extra to get a DX then the extra for a cover isn't probably going to worry you.

Overall the it's a nice case that does a good job.
